In a perfect world the holiday season comes time with loved ones, gratitude, and all-around merriment. For many in the LGBTQ+ community, however, the holidays can also bring on an onslaught of stress and anxiety about choosing to spend this time alone or with people who don't support who you are. vitaminwater wanted to create a social platform that would help this community feel supported this time of year so we partnered with The Trevor Project and House of Avalon to create "chosen families". With this message, we wanted the LGBTQ+ community to prioritize and celebrate themselves.
FIRST: We announced the partnership on House of Avalon's instagram.
NEXT: We created a Christmas card template with a y2k airbrush design. There were two ways to get a card - submit a solo pic of yourself and be pictured with House of Avalon members or submit an image of you and your chosen family and get a card created.
LASTLY: We created organic social content to keep delivering our message with the help of House of Avalon
